All of us want to be loved and to feel love in our life. I wonder if there is someone who doesn't want love in their life, but majority, we, as humans need love in our life, everyday. You know what? There's one who loved us unconditionally despite of our weaknesses and wrong doings, despite of all our sins. Let me tell you who He is and share my story about it.
I've seen the "love of God" in different ways. Honestly, at first, we say that God loved us if He will not gives us heartaches, pain, sufferings, problems, etc. Everything that will not hinder in our way, in our own will, we say that God truly loved us yet if we face hardness, failures, pain, sorrow or difficulties; we say that God didn't loved us and that's WRONG!!
We judge wrongly and we conclude already even though we do not search at first what is the reason of every hardships we face. At once, do you consider to ask God in every decision you do? Have you considered of His feeling? Do you know that even a small wrong decision, you can grieve Him?
All we know that God loved us so much though we're not faithful to Him, though we're not obeying Him, or even not doing what pleases Him. What do you think of love? Is it one way or two way? We say we loved God yet we can't expressed it in our works. I can assure you, God will loved us no matter who and what we are, because God is not looking in our failures, in our flaws or in our unfaithfulness yet God also want us to learn to love Him above all things.
God is faithful in His word. The Bible says:
"Now before the feast of the Passover, when Jesus knew that his hour was come that he should depart out of this world unto the Father, having loved his own which were in the world, he loved them unto the end." John 13:1
He loved us despite of our weaknesses and His unfailing love is unexplained. Being one of the person who experience the unfailing loved of God, I became like of speechless. The only thing I can do is to praise, thank and glorify Him because He loved me that much.
A sinner that is not worthy to be loved, a weak and frail girl that is unlovable yet He gave His life for me in Calvary's Cross. I should have been the one they crucified instead of Christ Jesus, He died for my sins and redeemed me. A lost sheep He has found and I thank God because before the foundation of the world, He already knew me. He is the one who looked for me and He is the first one who loved me unconditionally.
One thing I learn, everyone of us is unlovable yet we should learn how to love and forgive despite of our weaknesses. The loved that God gave us is a Divine Love, no one can loved us like He do and we can't love anyone like He did for us if God is not in our heart, because the love of God is measureless.
I ask you one thing, Is a murderer, drug pusher or criminal is worthy to be loved? Have you considered that you are worthy to be loved? Yes, you can say you are better than them yet God used Paul (a persecutor of the Church of God who killed many believers under the authority of the priests), an apostle of the Gentiles and he called himself: "chief of the sinner" because he killed many saints. That's how, God's love is unconditional, measureless and very pure.
All I can say about God's love is it is unconditional that even you make the earth as paper and the waters as ink, it is not enough to write down how great His love for us, no words can express the true beauty of His loved for me. God's love is very pure and deep, it reaches the deepest part of your heart. No eyes will remain dry, no mouth will remain closed and no hands will remain down when the love of God is at work.
