Gracious God

Did you know who is the God you are serving or the God that you know? Are you in deep thought who is He? Are you aware what He did for you? Well, I will share some of my experiences knowing Him. It is not only the knowledge of God, it's all about knowing who and having experience walking with Him. Let's begin!

Hi, my name is Joy Faith Buslon. I was raised in a Christian Family. Of course, we all know that being  Christian, we do and believe what our family standing for. As the age passed by, having my own intellect and growing experiences, I asked myself: Where God came from? Where it begins? Can I touch Him or talk to Him? I was curious about many things about Him. I was raised in the children's quarter every Sunday. We're taught us about God in that quarter, they teach us about Him, sometimes there's an activity or played. Overall, I grow up knowing God, but I didn't understand it all.

Back then, when I was a child, I prayed, talked to Him in my mind; just like talking to your friend. Saying everything I want not knowing if it is good or not, but the matter's to me that time is I just want to say everything I want. He's the only one who knows all my secret. I didn't say everything to all my friends or best friend. Even then, I keep it secret on my own. I didn't tell anyone all about myself. I was just taking care of it in my heart.

As I grow up, I desire to know Him; to experience all that I've heard about Him. I have been in deep desire back then just to know Him and to feel His power. Yes, I understand about Him, but only in my intellect. It didn't reach my heart of knowing Him that deeply because as a student, there's a lot of things you will encounter. Your focus will divert to many things and it happened to me, but the desire I had is still in my heart.

Actually, I can't focus serving Him when I was still studying. There's a lot of things I did that is not acceptable to Him. I know and I admit, I had a lot of weaknesses, but you know what?! God is gracious to me. I didn't know how and why He is still caring for me. The only thing I know is He is gracious, merciful God that redeemed me and save me. Well that's not at all, there's a lot of things you need to know about Him. It's just the beginning, so keep on reading and feel it to your heart.

God is very gracious to me. Every part of my life, He is always there, watching me, guiding me, protecting, caring and loving me unconditionally. The story of my birth date is I almost slipped into the doctor's hand, but thankfully, my father caught me and I was thankful to God because He is the one who save me from the beginning. That's the only thing I remember and even now, I was thankful because He always show me His kindness and always there for me. That's why He is gracious.
